Terms of use for the Agroneu app
Last updated · 2 September 2026
These terms cover the Agroneu Android app (com.agroneu.app). Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Who we are. Agroneu is an independent project responsible for the app described here. Contact: hello@agroneu.com
1. What the app is
Agroneu is a free set of tools and reference information for farming, work and government schemes. It is provided as it is, for information only. It is not a government service and is not connected to any government department.
You must be 18 or older to use it.
2. Nothing here is advice
The app does not give agricultural, financial, legal, insurance or tax advice. Every number it shows is a starting point for your own checking, not something to act on by itself.
3. Where the numbers come from
- Mandi prices come from the government’s AGMARKNET data on data.gov.in, passed on as published. They may be a day old, may be missing for your district, and may not match what a trader actually pays you.
- Weather comes from Open-Meteo. It is an ordinary forecast, not a warning service. For storms, heavy rain, heat, or any decision about safety, follow IMD and your district administration.
- Scheme information is collected from the issuing departments’ own portals. Rules, amounts and deadlines change without notice. The scheme checker only suggests schemes worth looking at. Whether you actually qualify is decided by the department, never by this app.
- Calculators cover insurance premium, land conversion, crop profit and loss, and fertiliser dose. They work from the numbers you type and from published rates, and produce estimates.
4. What we do not promise
We do not promise that the app will be available, that it will keep working, that anything in it is accurate, current or complete, or that a tool suits your particular purpose. Tools may change or be removed at any time. There is no support commitment.
5. Before money or paperwork
Check the official source first. This matters most for insurance premiums, scheme eligibility and deadlines, salary and wage figures, and anything you are about to sign, pay or file. Where the app and an official record disagree, the official record is right.
6. What you keep in the app
Anything you record in the app (your profile, labour entries, saved schemes) stays on your phone. We hold no copy, so we cannot restore it. If you clear the app’s data, uninstall it, or lose the phone, it is gone. Keep your own record of anything that matters.
The one exception is the scheme questionnaire: when you ask it to find schemes, those answers are sent to our server to run the lookup. The privacy policy explains that in full.
Files you process with the PDF and text tools are handled on your phone and are your responsibility.
7. Using the app
Use it freely, for yourself or in your work. Do not use it to break the law, do not try to overload or disrupt the service, and do not present what it shows as an official or government document. The Agroneu name and mark stay ours. Scheme text, prices and forecasts come from government and other sources. They are not ours, and we only pass them on.
8. Liability
The app is free and provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that follows from using it or relying on it, including a farming decision, a missed deadline, a rejected application, or a payment that turned out different from an estimate.
Nothing here takes away a right you have that cannot be given up by agreement.
9. Changes and contact
These terms may change; the date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the app means the new terms apply.
