Privacy policy for the Agroneu app

1. What we ask you
The schemes tool asks optional questions so it can look up the government schemes you may qualify for. Every question can be skipped, and none is needed to use the rest of the app. When you ask it to find schemes, your answers are sent to our server: age, gender, marital status, caste category, religion, income bracket, BPL status, disability status, education level, occupation, land ownership and size, crops grown, and your state and district.
Several of these are sensitive. We name them plainly so you know what is sent before you answer.
2. What your device sends
- Approximate location, only if you allow it, to find your district for mandi prices and weather. Never precise location.
- A pincode, if you type one instead.
- The crop, district or state you pick while using a tool.
3. What stays on your device
Your profile (name, pincode, taluka, district), saved tools and schemes, your language choice, a copy of your scheme answers, and everything the PDF and file tools do. Those files are never uploaded. You can clear all of it from the app, or by clearing the app’s storage.
4. What we never collect
No account, login, password, phone number or email. No Aadhaar number, bank details or land documents. No advertising identifier, no device identifier, no analytics, no crash reporting. No contacts, photos, messages, call logs or precise location. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, credit scoring or marketing, and we do not sell it, rent it, or share it with any other company.
The app is restricted in its own code to contacting agroneu.com and its subdomains.
5. What we keep
Your scheme answers are not stored. They run one read-only lookup and are discarded when the results come back. They are never written to a database or a log, and never linked to you, because there is no account to link them to.
6. Who else is involved
- Cloudflare runs the service that answers the app’s requests. Like any host it keeps standard request logs (IP address, address requested, timestamp) for reliability and abuse prevention. Your scheme answers are not in them.
- Open-Meteo provides the forecast. To get it, your approximate location, rounded to about a kilometre, is sent to them. Nothing else about you is.
Apart from these, we disclose nothing to anyone except where the law requires it of us. Everything travels over an encrypted connection.
7. Your data
We do not store your answers, so there is nothing on our side to erase. The copy on your device is yours to clear from the app whenever you want.

8. Children
The app is for adults making decisions about farming, work and government schemes. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Links and changes
The app links out to official government portals so you can apply at the real source; those sites have their own policies. If we ever start collecting something new, this page is updated before that ships, not after.
